One of the first things that you notice about Orlando from the time you step off the plane is that it is a friendly and happy place to spend you holiday, it’s a real tourist wonderland and the weather is not like at home!
Disney World is the leading attraction in town, but don’t forget Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove where you can swim with the Dolphins. With lots of other attractions both day and night to keep you and the young ones occupied there is something to suit all tastes and ages. You’ll walk a lot, queue a lot and probably eat a lot but you’ll have a fabulous time and you may end up exhausted as well! At the end of a long day you will still have Mickeys Paradise to come home to where you can relax in the private pool or ease those aches away with the jetted spa. You could even just spend the whole day by the pool relaxing and soaking up the Florida Sunshine.
Add on a day at one of the water parks, a trip to see some of the natural wildlife around Florida, a day at the beach looking for Turtles and Shells or you could pay a vist St Augustine the oldest town in Florida. With the lure of nearby Kennedy Space Centre, and you’re talking at least 2 weeks plus of pure fun, and if time allows you can even take a trip to 'Africa!' - Bush Gardens in Tampa Bay.
Don’t forget you will also need time to visit the Shopping Malls where you can pick up lots of designer bargains, you can shop and dine till late.
There is so much to see and do in Orlando you’ll need to keep your energy up. What better way to refuel than enjoy eating out in many unique restaurants / dining options that will make eating out an unforgettable experience.
In Florida children are welcomed everywhere. All the restaurants are affordable which makes a big difference when dining with children. You must try the 'all you can eat' buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinner. The wide variety of Diner Shows are fantastic value.
Clermont Area
Clermont town is around 8 miles away but you must try a night out on International Drive with all the Entertainment, Restaurants and Crazy Golf, this is a very popular destination. Then mix in the night time attractions of Downtown Disney, Universal’s City Walks and a host of dinner shows, and you get an idea of the awesome scale of the entertainment on offer. Even with two weeks, you will want to come back to see more.
